Taking a break

After careful consideration, I've decided to take a break from Fairtravel Battle for a few months.

There are many reasons for this, and it's not an easy decision. Getting progress is hard, as the game gets more and more complex. Updates are now taking more than two months on average to get released. I have no funds to properly advance the art side as well, and finding interested people is becoming more and more rare, since FTB is a niche within a niche.

Not only is it a card game, which most people aren't into, but also it's a collectible card game, which even less people are into. And even then, even less people are interested in FTB specifically, making it really hard to find new players and grow the community.

I've been feeling very overwhelmed, trying to make ends meet, with my limited resources and time. After approximately 1 year and 6 months of work, with 29 updates during that time, I have decided to take a break from FTB for a few months, to return to it in full strength later on.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Good luck man i felt little bit sorry, i hope you will able to publish soon. I am also making card game (roguelike) i know its not easy to finish that kind of product alone specially if you dont have budget and an artist.  I am working for 11 months and i dont even have playable aplha so far but i will continue to work. You have good working prototype finish it after the break.

Good luck man! Been following on development a bit and it seems like a fun game :)  CCGs are a hard market right now though. Hope you'll get to finish FTB after taking some time off. It is important to not overextend yourself, and developing CCG takes  a lot of effort.

Take care and all the best :)
